The unit has residential arrangement for staff and also farmers coming for training from far off villages. In this farm regular arrangement is there for training to new as well as old mushroom cultivators. Experiments and research is always going on in this unit for development of technology, further transferred to the field.

In brief to enumerate my experience in the field, my interest in mushroom grew during my Graduation and Post Graduation Studies. 1985
From the year 1989 I have been engaged in the development of Mushroom Cultivation in rural areas of India as an alternative economic approach to the rural youth. With this in view, I have taken a special training course on ‘Mushroom Cultivation and Spawn Production’ from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Department of Plant Pathology. Nadia.
